Peter Ford

Peter is a retired teacher. He’s been reading and watching science fiction since 1947 and has previously been published in various poetry anthologies, specialist journals and local newspapers.

Having loved the dry humour of Peter’s golfing stories in Fusion and Synthesis, we’re not surprised that local newspapers snap up his material.

Peter's stories have hit four of our competition shortlists so far! Firstly in the Sci-Fi Fusion competition, then in our Motherland poetry competition, and also in our Children's short story competition. In addition, writing as Pierre le Gue, Peter won second prize in the FANTASTIC PURE SCIENCE FICTION ANTHOLOGY 2016 with his excellent and engaging 'Steampunk Striker'.
