Our Guidelines

Fantastic Books Publishing accepts a small number of new works every year to publish under one of its imprints.

Our usual model is to take 10% of the profit from each publication and pay it to a charity nominated by the author.

The remaining profit is split equally between us and the author. We will only publish works that meet our editorial and quality standards.

Fantastic Books Publishing is currently accepting submissions in the following categories:

      - Fiction
      - Non-fiction
      - Local or corporate history
      - Poetry
      - Short stories
      - Contributions to special projects: these are small bespoke publishing projects for which we actively invite submissions. When such projects are live, the call for submissions will be advertised.

Please follow the submission guidelines below.

Please note that we charge a reading fee of £10 per submission, and you will receive a copy of our reader’s report. (Why the fee? See FAQs)

We do NOT currently accept radio, film and TV scripts.
