Kester Park is a prize-winning author from our 2016 horror competition where his beautifully crafted tale, The Perfect Family, caught the eye of our judges and made them shudder.
He acquired an honours degree in Creative Writing from the University of Hull in 2009.
Thereafter he passed into a phase of extended disorientation, possibly due to a spider bite.
When he became lucid, it was 2014, and he was half way up Mount Pichincha, in Ecuador, swathed in white robes, and faithful acolytes were writing down his every eructation on sacred parchments.
He is very content there as long as the yucca bread isn't too dry and someone wipes away the spittle once in a while.
