In Colin Who? British actor Colin Spaull tells the story of his life as what he terms ‘a jobbing actor’.
It has been a varied life that has taken him around the world and to every corner of the British Isles. There are few theatres where he has not trodden the boards, and the list of his acting credits reads like a catalogue of British soaps, dramas and sitcoms. When not on stage or small screen he has been on the big screen hobnobbing with the greats such as David Niven in Before Winter Comes.
He relates the realities of a showbiz life, the ups and downs, the highlights and heartbreaks, from a near mobbing in Battersea from which he and his friend Frazer Hines barely escaped, to careering round Shepperton Studios with Liza Minella on the back of his scooter.
Colin Spaull is one of only a handful of actors to have appeared in both the original and the current Doctor Who series.
