Stirling Davenport

Stirling has published poetry, short stories and fantasy novels. She has spent most of her life doing various day jobs to support her writing and painting. In 2005, she volunteered for one year in northern India, doing art therapy with Tibetan refugee children and filming a documentary about the exile experience. A student of Buddhism, she made several trips to Tibet. She has a son and granddaughter and lives in upstate New York.

Stirling was shortlisted in our Children's short story competition.
